Adventures in Brownie Land

So... today i go downstairs because adam has demanded the computer from me (once again) and my uncle calls, so i give the phone to my dad, who is out in the garage. when i come back in, i stumble across the scariest thing i have ever had the displeasure to view: adam attempting to make brownies.

so after i wrestle the olive oil from him and explain that olives are not indeed vegetables, i go upstairs, expecting an evening alone with my laptop and solitare. pretty soon i hear, "Ashley! how do you turn on the oven?" "Ashley, will you help me mix the brownies, i don't know how!" "Ashley! I'm worthless at life, i can't even pull off a simple task like pushing 'preheat' on the oven!" (okay, so that last one was made up, but whatever) this is when my dad stumbles in on the horrible mess in the kitchen.

Guess who ends up making the brownies? yeah, my dad.

Brownie batter is gross:

People Are Sooper Stupid

though no one reads this, i have some stuff to get off my chest. things that i've come to realize. people are stupid. they're always fighting, they never call to tell you where they are, they do things that they know will hurt them, they never call to tell you where they are, they can see things are happening, but they do diddly squat to stop it, they never call to tell you where they are, they use t.v. as their role model and above that, they never call to tell you where they are!

i mean really. what does it take for someone to give up, or pick up the telephone, or say "no", or dial a number, or confront a friend about drug use, or hold the phone to their ear, or turn off the t.v. and go outside, or say "hello... i'm gonna be (insert where you are going here) tonight... don't worry."

what i guess i'm trying to say is: stop being stupid. instead of fighting, unite. i'm tired of people bashing each other and rumors being spread and people not calling and people not calling and people not calling... oh, and people not calling.

Have a nice day.

I Thought I Was A Failure At Life... Then I Saw This.
